Art Happens

Art Happens is the UK’s first crowdfunding platform designed especially for museums and galleries. Visitors can browse for projects that inspire them and donate, giving museums and galleries the chance to fundraise for individual projects. Chocolate Films produced 3 short films to raise money with Art Happens: to conserve spectacular fashion history at the Museum of London’s Pleasure Gardens; to help the Foundling Museum, London put their first female champions back in the picture; and to bring local hero Samson home to the Museum of Norwich.

Great stories raise funds

The ‘Redressing Pleasure’ campaign for the Museum of London raised over 25% more than it set out to; and in just two weeks, the Foundling Museum raised £10.000 with thanks to the Art Fund and our film starring actress and writer Ruth Jones.
