Building a Magna Carta for the digital age
To mark the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta and the 25th anniversary of the World Wide Web, The British Library created a new educational project called Magna Carta: My Digital Rights. The project is a new national schools programme inviting Secondary and FE students and teachers to consider their rights and responsibilities online. The British Library encouraged young people across the globe to co-create a Magna Carta for the digital age, and invited the general public to vote for their favourite clause.
