Documenting the one of the world’s oldest computers

Chocolate Films captured the story of the Ferranti Pegasus, one of the world’s oldest computers. We spoke to those who operated the computer and met the staff and volunteers who now take care of it at the Science Museum. This short documentary celebrates its many years of service and the hard work of the volunteers.

This film was made to mark The Pegasus going into storage as the Computing gallery was redeveloped. A new Mathematics gallery will open in place of the Computing gallery in 2016.
